On the whole, Moana 2 is an entertaining fare In spite of this, its business will be limited because of the inherent resistance to animation films among the Hindi film-going audience. But the original English version, released simultaneously, will fare better.Also released all over. Opening was average at most of the places. The opening of the original English version was better.

Honestly, the makers have made Moana 2 a visual spectacle but failed to add depth to the emotions of the characters and are marred by the unidimensional and predictable storyline. While the sequel is ahead of its predecessor in terms of VFX but lacks the magic of the first part.The film doesn’t have any high points or wow moments as the challenges faced by the limited and prominent characters don’t emerge as an engrossing experience.On the whole, Moana 2 is not a bad film but nowhere close to its prequel.

Moana 2 is visually rich, bursting with colours and adventure. It has a solid build-up to a thrilling ride cutting through the enigmatic waters. There are no dull moments in Moana and Maui’s world. With an adequate dose of humour, drama and thrill, the sequel will appeal to a younger audience. But the charm of the original remains absent.
