GameChanger: ENTERTAINER. It’s a RamCharan show… Predictable plot elevated by impactful dramatic moments… Ordinary first half, lengthy but gripping second… Not #Shankar’s best, but keeps you engrossed and entertained. GameChangerReview

S. Shankar’s directoin is brilliant. His masterly directorial touches show his mastery over the medium. Ram Charan shines. If he is outstanding in dramatic and emotional scenes, he breathes fire in action sequences and is grace personified in dance sequences. On the whole, Game Changer is a good entertainer and has the merits to do well, but lack of promotion (of the Hindi dubbed version) will come in the way of realisation of its business potential.

The highly anticipated film Game Changer, directed by Shankar and featuring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, and Anjali alongside SJ Suryah and Srikanth in pivotal roles. Overall, Game Changer is a well-executed commercial film. Shankar’s grand scale and Ram Charan’s brilliant performance, combined with strong supporting roles and technical excellence, make it a compelling watch for enthusiasts of the genre.

After the phenomenal success of RRR, Ram Charan is set to captivate audiences once again with his upcoming film, Game Changer. Directed by the renowned filmmaker Shankar, Game Changer marks a significant return to the social genre, a forte where Shankar has consistently delivered impactful films. This highly anticipated movie is not only the first big-star film of 2025 but also the first pan-India film from the Telugu industry, produced by Dil Raju over three years.

Ram Charan would then interrupt their emotional talks and proudly declare that they may have played their games well, but he’s the OG Game Changer. Ram Charan’s earnestness is overshadowed by his inability to be as fluid or fragile as Rajinikanth or Chiyaan Vikram. He carries the role with one-note ease and barely breaks a sweat. Who said being upright doesn’t allow you to crack a smile or have fun? SJ Suryah is having more fun as the antagonist. He enjoys being evil just like every antagonist should. Only if Shankar, the once infallible maverick, had fun with his materials too. Has the uprightness of his heroes rubbed off on him in all the wrong ways? He can change the game later, he should first change himself!
