Aashram returns after a wait of almost two years, bringing the story to a conclusion, though it remains an average watch. From the outset of this season, it is apparent that the makers are steering toward closing the saga of a fake godman. Wherever there is politics, Prakash Jha is never far behind, which is why references to Chief Minister Sunderlal and Hukum Singh are woven into the plot. However, they add little to the core narrative. The events in this season feel predictable, and it’s clear that, lacking fresh material, the makers decided to wrap up the series. The focus remains firmly on Pammi and her quest for revenge, but the season lacks the raw intensity and grit that defined its predecessors. The writing feels uninspired, resulting in a dull and predictable conclusion to the story.

If the casting of Bobby Deol as an evil character was a surprise in Season 1, by now he has made the character his own, wearing the flowing costume and headgear with ease and arranging his features into an expression of benevolence. After the first season, the show acquired a visual polish. The candle-lit interiors often distract from the convoluted drama being played out with vaguely classical music in the background. If Prakash Jha is able to transfer today’s social and political reality onto the screen, the future seasons of Aashram might just get a much-needed dose of eyeball-grabbing power.

Director Prakash Jha’s signature style is evident in every frame. He gives every character ample space to shine, ensuring that the supporting cast isn’t overshadowed by the protagonist. Aashram Season 3 Part 2 is a must-watch for fans of the series. It not only maintains the thrill and intensity of its predecessors but also enhances the storytelling with a faster pace and gripping narrative. Whether you are a longtime viewer or a newcomer, the show offers an engaging experience, with a recap provided at the beginning to help first-time watchers catch up. With unexpected twists, power struggles, and a shocking betrayal, this season is packed with entertainment.
